Robert D. Hoffman, Director and Choreographer of Design and tap and Jazz teacher for Carousel School of Dance.

     Robert started his training at Sherry Lynn's Schools of Dance, Chadwick, Illinois. From there, he started teacher at Carousel Dance Studio, Clinton, Iowa. He has dance in various musicals at Timber Lake Playhouse, has done the choreography for the Peace Pipe Players in Maquoketa and has helped with the choreography at Clinton High School. Robert has been a member of the Quad-City Civic Ballet Company for two years dancing the parts of Father Time in the Bluebird and the Prince in Cinderella. He is a board member of the Gateway Contemporary Ballet Company and a member of the Iowa Dance Council and Dance Horizons.

     Robert has taught tap master tap classes in Las Vegas, Nevada for Kneeland, Snyder dance seminars. He has also judged for I Love Dance competitions in San Francisco, California.

     Robert has attended master tap classes himself in Rhode Island, Texas, Chicago, and Las Vegas. His adult tap class holds national titles in New York City and Las Vegas. Most recently teacher jazz technique to Clinton High School show choir and has re-stayed Jesus Christ Superstar for his own jazz student.
